The New York Post reports Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is expecting her first child. Despite her denials earlier this month, Snooki, 24, is reported to be "roughly a few months along" with a baby fathered by boyfriend Jionni LaVal.
Snooki reportedly wanted to delay announcing her condition until she snagged an exclusive deal with a celebrity magazine. The Post reports Snooki has done just that, inking a deal with Us Weekly, and is now aiming to, "bankroll her mommy-to-be status into becoming 'the next Kourtney Kardashian.'"
On February 2nd, in interviews on both Good Morning America and Live! with Kelly, Snooki denied being with child. During her Live! with Kelly appearance, Snooki suspiciously skipped a stunt that had Kelly Ripa and Jersey Shore pal Jennifer "JWoww" Farley popping balloons between them by smashing their tummies together.
Officially, MTV is still remaining mum, but according to the Post, the news panicked MTV execs because a pregnancy means sweeping changes in the already in-production Jersey Shore spin-off that stars Snooki and JWoww.
Regarding the pregnancy, a source tells the Post that “[MTV is] trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show."
Polizzi's rep has declined to comment on the pregnancy report.
It's seems that The Artist was not the only thing that got a lot of attention at the Oscars this past weekend. Anelina Jolie's right leg, which she put on display like the leg lamp in the movie A Christmas Story, now has it's own Twitter page. Check it out here.
The cutest little British rappers you will ever see hit the Grammy red carpet to interview music's biggest stars!
Sophia Grace Brownlee, 8 and her cousin Rosie McClelland, 5 have gone from internet sensations to bona fide TV stars thanks to Ellen DeGeneres' fondness for the tykes. First seen belting out Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" on YouTube, Ellen has since brought the girls on her talk show where they've performed several times, met Nicki and even covered the American Music Awards for "Ellen." Now they've just completed their biggest task yet -- the Grammy red carpet!
The adorable girls donned gold and pink tutus and had a "bubble party" with Lady Antebellum, belted out "Moves Like Jagger" for Maroon 5, and got hugs from Rihanna, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and more. Covering a huge awards show can be exhausting, so they even paused for a sandwich and juice box break on the red carpet. Too cute!
One of the greatest singing voices of our generation died this past Saturday. Whitney Houston was found dead at the age of 48. She will be remembered for the great music that she left behind, especially this version of the Star Spangled Banner, which she performed at Super Bowl XXV in 1991.
BUD SURPRISES RECREATIONAL HOCKEY TEAMS IN AWESOME WAY _ The focus this week has been on the presidential race, the Super Bowl and Super Bowl ads. But here's a good one that will air on the Canadian broadcast of the big game. Filmmakers told two recreational hockey teams in Port Credit, Ontario, that they were filming a hockey documentary -- but it was actually Budweiser Canada, who surprised the amateurs by filling their empty stadium with cheering fans, cheerleaders and sportscasters, giving the feel of a pro game. Check out the awesome video.
We know the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event of the year, but it seems that just as many people want to see the Super Bowl commercials. This year, many of the commercials have been released early on the web.
Click here if you want to see them early. Otherwise, just wait til the game on Sunday. Of course, it will mean that you'll have to take your bathroom breaks during the game.
