New DACC President Ready to Take Helm

The new president of Danville Area Community College is taking the helm on Monday.  Dr. Stephen Nacco becomes the community college’s seventh president, replacing Dr. Alice Marie Jacobs who is retiring.

Dr. Nacco has been serving as Vice President of Administrative Services at Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey.  He was selected from a field of forty-four applicants who applied for the job at Danville Area Community College.

The new DACC President will hit the ground running with a full calendar during his first week on the job.   The week includes a three-day all-college-in-service leading up to the opening of the fall semester on Monday, August 22nd.
