The Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into what caused a mobile home to be destroyed by flames early today (Tuesday, May 8, 2018) at the Terrace Acres Mobile Home Park in Georgetown.
Volunteer Firefighters from the Westville and Ridge Farm Fire Departments assisted Georgetown units in battling the flames.
Eighteen-year-old Caleb Peaslee lived there. His mother, Terrie Roberts, says a neighbor who first spotted the fire feared the worst…
Roberts is thankful her son was not there when the fire broke out….
Peaslee lost all of his belongings to the flames. His mother says anyone who would like to help him recover from the loss can call (217) 703-9689.
