This year’s Balloons Over Vermilion is being called a big success by many…despite Saturday’s thunderstorms which cancelled the evening flight and balloon glow. Thousands of people packed the Vermilion Regional Airport grounds Friday, and a lot of people were on hand for Saturday night’s laser show – even though the balloons did not inflate.
