Bond has been set at $100-thousand dollars for a Danville man who now faces six counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Forty-one year old David Woodrow, who is well-known for his work in music and theatrical productions in the Danville area, claimed in court today that he is innocent.
Judge Karen Wall explained the charges and possible penalties if Woodrow is convicted. The defendant appeared via a video link between the Public Safety Building and the Rita B. Garman Vermilion County Courthouse.
Two of the counts allege Woodrow sexually abused a boy between the 1st and 31st of July of 2011.
Two other counts allege sexual abuse of a victim on or about August 1st through September of 2011.
And the final two counts allege sexual abuse of a child between June 1st and 30th of 2012.
Woodrow could be released from custody if he posts 10-percent of his $100-thousand dollar bond. The judge set an arraignment date of August 3rd.
