Some young area residents were rewarded Monday for a lot of hard work as they showed their animals at the Georgetown Fair.

And Bass described the animals that were being judged….
Bass is eighteen. The Section 18 FFA Vice President is 16-year-old Andrew Davis of Georgetown. He offered this advice for young members who are just starting out….
Activities at the Georgetown Fair on Tuesday (August 7th) include an Open Swine Show at 8:00 a.m., Junior Sheep Show at 5:00 p.m., and an Open and Junior Breed Barrow Show at 6:00 p.m.

The grandstand attraction at the fair Tuesday night is a Talent Contest starting at 7:00 p.m. It is also armband night again on the carnival rides from 6:00 p.m. until close.
