Twenty-two year old Holly Cassano was found dead in her home where she had been stabbed multiple times according to authorities. Toni Cassano – the victim’s mother – says there have been lots of hugs and tears among family members and friends after news spread that 30-year-old Michael Henslick of Mahomet had been charged with the murder. Champaign County State’s Attorney Julia Rietz says Henslick has confessed to the murder, but Sheriff Dan Walsh did not disclose a motive.
Henslick’s bond was set at $10-million dollars. He has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder.
