No injuries were reported as flames heavily damaged a home in Danville last night. Danville Firefighters found flames shooting from some windows of the home at 717 North Kimball Street when they arrived shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Firefighters were able to quickly determine that the sole occupant of the home was safely outside. They were also able to knock down the flames quickly but preliminary damage estimates are being placed at $12-thousand dollars.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
