A veteran member of the Danville City Council has been selected as the city’s new acting mayor. Rickey Williams Junior will take over the mayor’s duties on November 6th when current Mayor Scott Eisenhauer resigns. Williams also says he intends to run for the mayor’s job in the next city election. He also intends to split his time working the Mayor’s job and keeping his position as head of the Project Success after school program….
Williams has served on the Danville City Council for nine years.
