Fifth and sixth grade students from South View Upper Elementary and Northeast Magnet Schools in Danville are getting a special lesson this week on staying safe online. The Danville Public School Foundation is sponsoring My Life Online assemblies on Thursday focusing on being safe, smart and kind online.
Bob Richard, Executive Director of the Danville Public School Foundation, says students will learn the 3 key questions needed to self-manage their life online and make the most of every post. The students will also learn their digital footprint has short, medium and long-term consequences – both positive and negative.
The assemblies are made possible through donations to the Danville Public School Foundation’s mission to provide enhanced educational opportunities for children attending Danville Public Schools.
