Vermilion County War Museum Sets Special Events

Some events set at the Vermilion County War Museum will mark Veterans Day and the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One.  On Saturday, November 10th, there will be an open house at the Vermilion County War Museum in honor of Veterans Day.   The museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with free admission, although donations will be accepted.

Then on Sunday, November 11th, the Vermilion County War Museum will be open from noon until 4:00 p.m.  Again admission will be free, although donations will be accepted.  Sunday will mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War I.  And it will also be the 19th anniversary of the Vermilion County War Museum.

November 13th through 17th there will be World War I displays at the War Museum.  The museum will operate regular hours on Tuesday through Friday that week.  Those hours are Tuesday through Friday from noon until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
