Project Success of Vermilion County will help brighten the holiday season for some area children again this year. Project Success Director Rickey Williams Jr. says the past 18 years they have been very blessed with the support they receive from area residents.
Children on the Project Success Wish List are not serviced by any other holiday program in the county. The top priority is to provide the children with winter clothing, and then – if donations allow – toys or other miscellaneous needs are addressed.
Employees from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Walgreens and Envirox have already selected many children on the list to help.
If you would like to help, you can select a child’s number from their wish list and then drop-off new items only at the Project Success office at 917 North Walnut Street, Suite 203, in Danville. Monetary donations will be used to purchase items on the wish list and are tax deductible.
In addition to new clothes and toys…other miscellaneous items which are needed include wrapping paper, gift boxes or bags, body wash and lotions, Flash drives, pens, pencils and journals, board games, craft kits and hair accessories among others.
