No injuries were reported Friday evening as Danville Firefighters battled a blaze in sub-freezing weather. The fire left extensive damage to the home at 92 Lake Street which was unoccupied. Firefighters found heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story residence when they arrived.
The cause of the two alarm fire remains under investigation, but is suspicious. A dozen firefighters were on the scene, including three engines, a truck company and mobile command. Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
