Discussions to Focus on Local Economy

An ‘Economic Forecast 2019’ event coming January 31st in Danville is going to feature some interactive discussions on the local economy.  It will also feature a report from Vicki Haugen, President of Vermilion Advantage.

Tickets for the event at the Bremer Conference Center at Danville Area Community College go on sale Monday, January 7th.

‘’We saw an opportunity to bring the business community together and focus on what is an exciting picture with our local economy,’’ says Neuhoff Media General Manager Michelle Campbell.

‘’The event will feature interactive discussions on key economic sectors rather than a series of speeches,’’ said Campbell.  ‘’We are excited about the response to Economic Forecast 2019 so far,’’ she added.

Neuhoff Media along with Danville Area Community College are hosting the event.  Classic Homes is the Presenting Sponsor.  The event will run from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31st at the Bremer Conference Center at Danville Area Community College.  Tickets are $10 and will be available at Neuhoff Media, 1501 North Washington Street in Danville starting Monday.

Neuhoff Media Danville owns and operates local radio stations WDAN-AM, WDNL-FM and WRHK-FM, along with VermilionCountyFirst.com.

Proceeds from the event will help support the workforce development programs at Vermilion Advantage.

If you are unable to attend the event, you can still listen to the interactive discussion involving representatives of Manufacturing, Health Care and Education.  It will be broadcast live on WDAN 1490 am Radio and will be streamed on VermilionCountyFirst.com.  Seating is limited, so those interested in attending the event are being encouraged to buy tickets early.
