The Danville Public Library Foundation is looking for some new or gently used books in order to give them a new home. The Library will be hosting its Spring Book Sale on March 22nd and 23rd. Thousands of books will be for sale including collectible books and those for children and adults. Audiovisual materials will also be for sale.
Proceeds from the book sale are used to enhance the library’s print and audio collection, library services, and educational and cultural opportunities for families.
The Danville Public Library is accepting a variety of donated items for the sale including books that are in good condition, sets of encyclopedias from the past three years, audio books, music on CDs, and movies on DVD or Blu-ray which are still in their original case.
The library does not accept magazines (including National Geographic), textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, cassette tapes or VHS tapes.
If you have questions about the book drive or the Danville Public Library Foundation call (217) 477-5220, extension 114.
