Danville Police have arrested two females after reviewing a video circulating on social media showing a large group of individuals involved in a fight. Police say the fight occurred at the Fair Oaks Housing complex in the 1600 block of Clyman Lane. Police were notified about the video Wednesday morning (April 17, 2019).
Detectives say what appeared to be socks filled with some type of hard object, were used to batter subjects at the scene. Danville Police Detectives were able to identify two of the victims in the video, as well as two suspects.
Police say one of the victims sought hospital treatment for a laceration to the head.
Those arrested on charges of mob action and aggravated battery are identified as 21-year-old Fatimal L. Washington and 22-year-old Alexes Noye, both of Danville. Bonds for the two defendants have been set at $100,000 apiece.
