Although it was cold and windy, that failed to keep hundreds of kids from having a good time at this year’s ‘Great Easter Egg Hunt’ at the studios of Neuhoff Media in Danville.
The hunt gave the kids a chance to win prizes and get their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. The hunt is sponsored by Neuhoff Media (which owns WDNL, WDAN, and WRHK – K-Rock Radio) and the City of Danville Recreation Department.
It was 45-degrees when the go was given for kids to start searching for eggs in the first ‘patch’. And a brisk northerly wind made it feel like 35. But the smiles on the faces of children showed they did not seem to mind the cool conditions at all.
It took less than five minutes for the thousands of bright-colored eggs to be grabbed in each ‘patch’.
