The Danville Symphony Orchestra performed two free concerts for hundreds of fourth and fifth grade students Tuesday. The students from 22 area schools enjoyed the concerts in the comfort of the Dick Van Dyke Auditorium at Danville High School….
Director Jeremy Swirling says it is an effort to introduce students to the sounds of live music. Some Danville High School instrumental students also got a treat out of the concerts. They got to perform along with the Symphony.
