Danville school administrators are saying little about an incident which resulted with discipline action against several Danville High School students Tuesday. Dr. Elizabeth Yacobi, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, says at approximately 2:10 p.m. Tuesday a group of students was loitering in the hallway during class period and caused a disruption to the learning of others.
‘’Students were directed back to their classrooms and most complied,’’ said Dr. Yacobi. ‘’Several students became very insubordinate to staff,’’ she added. And Dr. Yacobi says those students were disciplined accordingly. She added the district does not comment on personnel matters.
