The Project Success after school program in Vermilion County has a new Executive Director. It has been announced the board has hired 46-year-old Lucas Seilhymer to fill the vacancy that was created when Rickey Williams Jr. was elected Danville Mayor.
Seilhymer has been serving as the Executive Director for CASA of Vermilion County, a program that provides advocates in court for abused or neglected children.
As the new head of Project Success Seilhymer will oversee about 120 employees, in an agency whose budget totals nearly $1.8 million dollars.
He is a 2009 graduate of Schlarman Academy in Danville and previously served in Americorp.
