Danville Police are investigating after two men showed up at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center early Saturday (June 29. 2019) with both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police Commander Joshua Webb says officers were called to the 900 block of Hubbard Lane around 3:45 a.m. on a report of shots fired. While investigating the scene police learned that two men had arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Commander Webb says a 29-year old Danville man suffered a gunshot wound to his lower back. The victim told police he was outside a party in the 900 block of Hubbard Lane when he heard gunshots and tried to flee. The man said that is when he was struck by one of the shots.
The other victim is a 27-year-old Danville man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and abdomen. He refused to give police a statement
