Danville Police Arrest Suspect in Shooting

Danville Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 19, 2019.   Police Commander Joshua Webb says 23-year-old Raheem J. Mullins of Danville is being held in the wounding of a man in the area of Commercial and Buchanan Streets.

Police arrested Mullins on a charge of aggravated battery with a firearm.  Mullin’s bond is set at $500-thousand dollars.

The victim told police he got involved in a verbal argument with another man.  During the argument an SUV pulled up and a third man got out of the vehicle and shot the victim in the leg.
