Are you looking for a part-time job? State Farm Center has announced the procedure and timing for hiring new members of its event staff for the 2019-20 entertainment and basketball seasons. As in past years, three open interview blocks will be offered for prospective staff members to attend on August 26-28 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Full information about Event Staff positions and other part-time roles at the venue can be found at StateFarmCenter.com/Jobs.
The State Farm Center Event Staff team is responsible for a wide variety of roles to enhance the guest experience, including greeting guests, scanning tickets, directing guests to seating areas and facility amenities, serving as ushers inside of the arena, and staffing the new Illinois Premium Seating club spaces and seating areas within State Farm Center. Event Staff team members are expected to set a tone of exceptional customer service for all guests and staff.
State Farm Center is a multipurpose arena that hosts a variety of events each year, including Fighting Illini Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Broadway shows, concerts, family shows, community events, and more! Event Staff positions are a fun and flexible way to contribute to and enjoy the live event experience!
Walk-in interviews will be held for State Farm Center Event Staff on August 26-28 from 3:30-7:30 p.m. each day at State Farm Center. No appointments are necessary. Simply show up during the open interview time periods! Casual dress is acceptable.

Wednesday, August 28 (3:30-7:30 p.m.)
Location: State Farm Center (Located at the corner of Kirby and Fourth in Champaign)
Enter through the Lower East Entrance. (Parking is available in the Northeast Lot, accessible off of Kirby Avenue and Fourth Street.)
Please note that this is the side of the building facing Fourth Street, and NOT the West Grand Entrance to the building.
