DACC Ready to Kick Off Fall Term

The first day of the Fall Term at Danville Area Community College is just a week away.  Classes begin on the DACC campus, at the DACC Higher Learning Center in Hoopeston, and at Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School on Monday, August 19th.

Extended hours are being held Monday (August 12th) through Thursday (August 15th) for the Financial Aid, Cashier, and Bookstore, and getting ID cards at Danville Area Community College.  The extended hours run from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. each day.

GED/HSE (High School Equivalency) Courses are also offered through Danville Area Community College.  Those courses will run August 20th through December 12th on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  The classes are available free of charge to residents of the community college district. Standard tuition rates apply for credit classes.

Students who enroll in 12 or more credit hours at Danville Area Community College qualify for a bonus course.  They may enroll in a number of bonus courses and receive a $500 waiver.  They must maintain a full-time status without the Bonus Course in order to keep the waiver on their account.
