The Bicentennial of Illinois Law Exhibit is coming to Danville. Danville Area Community College’s Library will be hosting the exhibit from Tuesday, September 10th, through October 4th, 2019. The library is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The exhibit features interesting and educational cases in Illinois history, information about how the court system operates, and a general history of the judiciary’s first 200 years of existence.
An opening ceremony for the exhibit will be held on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the DACC Library, which is located in the Clock Tower Center. The ceremony will feature Illinois Supreme Court Justice Rita Garman of Danville.
