Danville Senior Planner Tyson Terhune says this is phase one…
Terhune says a more detailed phase two will be submitted later containing the actual plans….
Terhune told VermilionCountyFirst.com News once the phase two plans are approved construction would be able to begin.
The Danville City Council is expected to act on the phase one plans when it meets on October 15th. Terhune adds approval of the phase one preliminary plan will be sufficient to meet the state’s October 28th deadline for submitting a proposal.
The Planning and Zoning Commission also recommended last night (Thursday) that the City Council approve re-zoning some property in the 800 block of East Main Street. It is to allow Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church to install a new animated/digital sign.
