Banana Bars with Frosting 10/4/19

Ingredients:

Bars:

1 stick butter or margarine

1 1/2 cup of sugar

2 eggs

3 ripe bananas, mashed

3/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon of vanilla

2 cups of flour

1 tablespoon of baking soda

1/2 tablespoon of salt

Frosting:

1 cup of sugar

1 stick butter or margarine

1/4 cup of milk

1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar

Directions:

Bars:

Mix butter and sugar

Then add eggs, sour cream, and bananas

Add dry ingredients

Add vanilla

Mix

Pour in ungreased jelly roll pan

Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes

Frosting:

Bring butter, sugar, and milk to a complete boil; then remove from heat and cool

Add powdered sugar and beat well

Spread over bars
