Carle has announced plans for more flu clinics…including one in Danville on Saturday, October 12th. Flu vaccinations will be offered Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carle’s Fairchild Street location in Danville. The walk-in clinic is for adults only and no appointment is necessary.
Carle will be offering a drive-thru clinic for flu shots on Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th. It will be at the Carle North Annex at 810 West Anthony Drive in Urbana. The drive-thru hours there will be 9:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, October 12th, and noon until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13th.
Walk-in flu clinics will also be held at the West Anthony Drive location in Urbana October 15th through November 26th on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Hours will be 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. And on weekends, flu vaccinations are being offered at the Urbana location on October 19 through November 24th. Hours will be 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and noon until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
Carle Physician Group patients may choose direct billing and must take their clinic number and insurance card with them to do so. Medicare recipients must take their Medicare card with them for direct billing. Non-Medicare or non-Carle Physician Group patients should be prepared to pay at the time of service.
Flu shots can also be given by your Primary Care provider.
Seasonal flu shots cost $40; high-dose flu shots are $70. Carle will not offer nasal FluMist this year.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends flu vaccinations for all people 6 months old or older.
Carle will also be providing flu vaccinations at its facilities in Mattoon and Tuscola.
