Gary Delhaye, a Westville Village Board member and member of the Zamberletti Park Improvement Commission, says there will be more than craft vendors. There will also be a Pancake & Sausage Breakfast on Saturday from 8:00 until 11:00 a.m. for a free-will donation. The Westville Jr. High School Chorus will perform Saturday morning, and Santa will be on hand.
Jeff Slavik, who chairs the Zamberletti Park Improvement Commission, says there has been tremendous support from the community and others which has allowed for some major upgrades at the park. Those upgrades have included renovations to restrooms and the addition of new playground equipment which is accessible for children with disabilities. But he adds there is more that needs to be done. The Westville Youth Football League and Westville Recreation League are teaming with the Commission for the event Friday and Saturday at St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Slavik says one of the things they want to do is expand a concession building to allow for more storage space.
