A drive-by shooting in the area of Bowman Avenue and Holiday Drive in Danville Tuesday night (Jan. 7, 2020) sent a Danville teenager to a hospital for treatment. Police Commander Joshua Webb says officers were called to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center after the 18-year-old male showed up there for treatment of a gunshot wound to a leg. Police say the wound was not life-threatening.
The teen told police he was on foot in the Bowman and Holiday Drive area when shots were fired from a white colored vehicle. One of the shots hit the teen in the lower leg. Friends drove him to the hospital for treatment.
