No injuries were reported Tuesday evening (February 18, 2020) when flames swept through a vacant home in Danville. Firefighters found heavy flames coming from the home in the 500 block of Clay Street when they arrived and were forced to attack the flames from the exterior.
Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to nearby structures. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A piece of heavy equipment was brought in to help firefighters in dousing the flames.

And McMahon says Tuesday evening’s fire is similar to three or four others which have occurred lately in Danville.
