Black History Month events are continuing at Danville Area Community College. On Monday, February 24th, a program entitled ‘Tomorrow – Black History and Its Future’ – will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Student Union in Lincoln Hall.
The program will include a look at the future through the eyes of Meade Park Elementary School students with guest speaker Dr. Nicole Carter. She will speak on future opportunities and challenges in health care for African Americans.
The event is open to students, faculty, staff, and citizens from the community. Refreshments will be served.
