Michelle Bachmann - Hair Icon??

Since she started running for president, Michele Bachmann has been put under a microscope.

Some have criticized the Minnesota congresswoman's conservative politics, while a few of her offhanded quotes and gaffes have also raised eyebrows.

However, there's one area where the GOP presidential hopeful seems to be running far ahead of the pack.
Simply put, every day lately is usually a good "hair day" for Bachmann.

So much so in fact, that hair stylists from coast to coast say that women are coming into their salon asking for the style worn by Bachmann, a coppery-red, full look that falls to the shoulders.

Andi Scarbrough of Byu-ti Hair Therapy in L.A. says, "A lot of clients have asked for Sarah Palin hair in the past four years, and now, it's Bachmann. Politicians are the new celebrities, because they're real. They didn't just spring up out of the red carpet."

Women think the Bachmann look, while "safe," is still sexy. Then again, there are reports that some customers will walk into salons holding a photo of Bachmann's hair, with Bachmann's face cut out.
