The Vermilion County Museum Society and the Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition are hosting a special event on Thursday evening, April 4th, from 7 to 9 PM in the Museum Center at 116 N. Gilbert Street.
Come learn about Danville being a Gateway City in the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage area and what this means for the city, county, and the area. Special entertainment by Chris Vallillo, Singer/Songwriter and Folk Musician and George Buss, Lincoln impersonator, entitled “Lincoln, the Great Communicator” will be presented.
This event will provide an educational experience free and open to the public. It will also be an opportunity to generate awareness of Looking for Lincoln and the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area to a broader audience. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
For additional information contact the Museum, Tuesday through Friday, from 10 AM to 4 PM at 217-442-2922.
