A new Ruler Food Store is set to open on Danville’s east side soon. The store at the intersection of East Main and Griffin Streets is targeted for opening on May 30th. Mark Combs, Executive Director of Marketing for JayC Food Stores, says there are 17 Ruler Food Stores in this region….including one that opened recently in Champaign.
The Danville site previously housed another business, but Combs says the building has been completely renovated. He says the store will include fresh meats and produce, frozen and dairy products and a variety of Kroger brand products.
Combs says hopefully area residents will support the store, which he thinks can help them save money on their grocery bills.
